Tis image was made using Windsor & Newton watercolour on A5 cartridge paper in my concertina sketchbook. I went camping in Devon for a week with a group of girlfriends. Title or Location: Costa Brava Boats
Our family was vacationing in Tossa de Mar, Spain. We had ben out for a walk but it was beginning to rain and as we hurried home, I saw these boats up on the sand. I was just really drawn to them so I ran over and took a photo before the rain really started coming down. Months later, I decided to paint the scene.

Title or Location: A Lighthouse for Marcos
I took a class with David Lobenberg, a professional and master watercolor painter and master art mentor. He led us through, step by step, painting this lighthouse (a painting he has done several times). So, the composition is not original. But my execution of the painting is all my own.
